Maps to GPX

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Maps to GPX handles information when you use the route conversion tool.

The service is designed to collect as little personal information as possible for the current public version.

Route URLs and GPX generation

When you submit a Google Maps route URL, the server reads that URL and sends route parameters to Google Maps Platform APIs to generate a GPX file. The generated GPX is returned to your browser.

Route conversion requests may pass through Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, security, and rate limiting.

Logs and rate limiting

The service may process IP addresses and request metadata to prevent abuse, enforce request limits, and troubleshoot failures. Rate-limit counters are temporary and are not intended to identify individual users.

Advertising

The site may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services. These providers may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads according to their own policies.
