Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Maps to GPX handles information when you use the route conversion tool.
The free converter works without an account. Account and billing information is processed only when you choose to register or use Maps to GPX Pro.
Logs and rate limiting
The service may process IP addresses and request metadata to prevent abuse, enforce request limits, and troubleshoot failures. Rate-limit counters are temporary and are not intended to identify individual users.
Cookies for advertising and analytics
The site may use general cookies for advertising delivery, access analytics, and service improvement.
Affiliate links
Some pages may include advertising or affiliate links. External services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure referrals, purchases, and advertising performance.
Route URLs
Submitted Google Maps URLs are processed to generate GPX files. They may contain place names, coordinates, or route details, so avoid submitting links that include private locations you do not want processed. If you choose to preview a free conversion in the route editor, its route URL, generated GPX, and output settings are stored temporarily for the signed-in preview. When paid route access or Pro is active, generated GPX files and route details may remain available until the access period ends or you delete them.
Accounts and billing
If you create an account, the service processes your email address and authentication identifiers to provide sign-in. Google may process information when you choose Google sign-in.
Stripe processes Pro payments and billing details. Maps to GPX uses subscription status and Stripe customer identifiers to provide paid features, but does not store your full payment card details.
Contact form
When you send feedback through the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are used to respond to the inquiry and improve the service.
