GPX with Turn-by-Turn Directions
Generate GPX files that can preserve turn-by-turn cue information from supported Google Maps route URLs.
Turn-by-turn cues help cycling computers show useful prompts instead of only displaying a line on the map.
What TBT means
TBT, or turn-by-turn, refers to cue points such as left turns, right turns, exits, and distance-based navigation prompts along the route.
Why it matters on a ride
A route line is useful, but cues can make it easier to prepare for turns, intersections, and changes in road direction while riding.
Availability depends on the route
Some shared Google Maps links contain more usable direction information than others. When instructions are unavailable, the GPX may still provide route geometry.
